The Waxing Room is NOW OPEN for ALL SERVICES, but we will be doing things a little different. The Waxing Room and it's employees understand your sanitation concerns and have worked hard to prepare our studios for you! Your comfort and safety is of the utmost importance, so we have:
Passed an online Barbicide Certification program
Deep cleaned and disinfected all surfaces, walls, handles and implements
Laundered and disinfected all linnes, towels, sheets and curtains
Removed any non-essential items in the studio
Initiated contactless methods of scheduling and payment and/or provided disinfectant for payment process
Acquired appropriate personal protective equipment to be used when necessary and requested
Here are the new guidelines from the Health Department and a list of things we need our clients to do in order to keep everyone safe and healthy:
HEALTHY- We ask that any employee or persons entering into to salons be healthy without fever, cough or sickness.
ALONE- For the foreseeable future, we ask that you come to your appointment alone. Only one client may be in the room at a time, unless the client is a minor or disabled in any way. Children and babies will not be allowed in the treatment room.
MASKS- We will wear masks while servicing you, we ask that you bring and wear a mask as well.
LIMITED APPOINTMENTS- As we follow re-opening guidelines, our locations will be operating at 25% capacity. If you don't see availability on the day and time you want, please call to get on the waitlist. 714-944-0983 (this is a desk phone for the studio aka a "landline" please do not text this number). Additionally, there will be a 15 min set-up and disinfectant time between every appointment.
NO RECEPTIONIST- Only one person does the booking. We have added an additional waxer, but you will be with your Waxologist from the beginning to the end of your time with us. Please be patient when calling and waiting for callbacks. You will get an appointment faster by booking online or by re-booking future appointments after each treatment.
ONLINE BOOKING- Your online booking abilities are always available. You may pick your Waxer, location, time, book, and cancel. Should you have any problems with your online account, shoot us an email and we can fix it for you. If we have your email on file already, simply click "forgot password" and you'll get a link to reset your online account.
PATIENCE- As we re-open, this is a trying time for us while we try and rebuild from the devastating closure we have experienced, so we appreciate your patience & understanding. This closure has been nothing short of devastating; with no government assistance, it is a very trying time. I appreciate your patience with these changes, and I am deeply grateful for your support of The Waxing Room.
